USP Structural Connectors CIA-GEL 7000 Epoxy Anchoring System
2-component, 100% solids, 1 to 1 ratio, moisture insensitive, non-sag, nonshrink, solvent free, high strength epoxy. For use in substrate temperatures above 40 F. For use in anchoring threaded rod and rebar into normal and lightweight concrete, stemwalls, concrete block, reinforced brick, unreinforced masonry (URM/UMB), and other construction materials. Can also be used as a pick proof caulking material/security sealant and to seal non-moving cracks.

  • Anchoring threaded rod or rebar in concrete brick or block rehabilitation projects.
  • Anchoring vibratory equipment.
  • Guard rail anchoring - close to edge applications.
  • Support brackets for rail projects.
  • Tilt-up wall braces.
  • Crack injection paste. CIA-Gel 7000
  • High-strength "non-pick" caulking for security projects.
  • Anchoring for DOT projects.
  • Brick veneer anchoring.
  • Expansion joint anchors.

Examples of Use
  1. Rebar doweling into solid or hollow masonry. The use of a wire mesh screen tube is required for hollow wall applications.
  2. 22.5 degree combination anchors. Anchoring for seismic retrofit in accordance with City of Los Angeles Division 88 or UCBC Appendix Chapter 1 . See COLA Report No. 25029 and/or ICBO ES Report No. 4846 for details.
  3. Anchoring threaded rod into solid or hollow masonry.
  4. Attaching steel angles or ledgers to solid or hollow masonry.
  5. Attaching threaded rod or reinforcing bar into grout filled (solid) concrete block.
  6. Attaching threaded rod or reinforcing bar into hollow concrete block.
  7. Attaching sill plates to concrete.
  8. Rebar Doweling into concrete.
